Bergamot Spiced Carrot Muffins

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup wheat bran
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup raisins
1 tsp C&C Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 cup shredded carrot
1/2 cup canola oil
2 eggs
2 TBSP molasses
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 drop Young Living Vitality Bergamot Essential Oil

In a large bowl combine first 10 ingredients. Mix well. Push up around sides of bowl making a well in the center.

Add remaining ingredients to a separate bowl. Beat with spoon until mixed. Add to the well, stir just to moisten. Batter will be lumpy.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for 17-22 minutes or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
