Blackened Chicken

This is going to seem ridiculously simple, but I promise you amazing food really is this easy when you use C&C spice blends! Try any number of our other mixes in this recipe.

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 TBSP canola oil
2 TBSP C&C Blackening Seasoning

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat for 5 minutes until it is smoking hot.

Coat chicken in oil, then in spices. Place the chicken in the hot pan, and cook for 1 minute. Turn, and cook 1 minute on other side. Place the breasts on lined or oiled baking sheet. Cook in preheated oven until internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached. Let rest 5 minutes.
