Kefta – Moroccan Meatballs


1 lb ground beef
1 small red onion, grated finely
1 tsp cumin, ground
1 tsp coriander, ground
1 tsp paprika
1/2 thumb sized piece fresh ginger, grated
Small bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Put all ingredients into a big bowl and season generously with salt and pepper. Use hands to mix everything tougher then divide mixture into four and each quarter into five meatballs. Place them on a tray in the fridge for 30 minutes.

In a grill pan or frying pan, over medium heat, grill meatballs drizzled with olive oil for 7-10 minutes. Serve in a pita or on rice with dip.
