Cinnamon Honey Chicken

Cinnamon Honey Chicken

3 lbs of chicken
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp black pepper
pinch of nutmeg
1 egg
2 TBSP milk
1/3 cup dried bread crumbs
2 TBSP oil
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
2 pinches cinnamon
1 TBSP lemon or lime juice
Cooking spray

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Combine flour, salt, cinnamon, turmeric, pepper and nutmeg.

Coat chicken pieces in flour.

Combine eggs and milk. Dip the floured chicken in the egg mixture then put it into the bread crumbs. Bake for 25 minutes.

In a sauce pan combine all other ingredients. After 25 minutes in the oven, drizzle the honey mix on the chicken and cook 15 more minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
