Spicy Garlic Broccoli
Makes 6-8 Servings

2 tablespoons olive oil (light is best)
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs broccoli

Simmer broccoli covered in 1 inch of salted water for 5 to 7 minutes, until tender. Drain broccoli and return skillet to heat. Heat skillet over high heat. Add oil, crushed pepper and garlic. Turn broccoli in hot spicy oil and season with salt. Transfer to a serving dish.

    • You’re right! I had accidentally combined notes for this recipe. The broth had been used in a previous version but I found just salted water was more than enough flavour, and it kept the dish vegetarian! Thanks for the catch.
