GENERAL INFORMATION
Hand blended in Ottawa, this taco seasoning is one of the shop's all time best sellers. It is a wonderful mix of ethically sourced ingredients including paprika, cumin, garlic, oregano, chili powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red chili flake. This blend comes in two varieties - mild or spicy - for every taste. Spicy includes cayenne and habanero powder as well.
CULINARY USES
Combine with ground meat and/or beans to make tacos. To season one pound of meat or beans, mix 4 tablespoons of seasoning into 3/4 cup water. Add to one pound of slightly-browned ground meat and simmer 10 minutes, or until sauce starts to thicken. Also try on roasted veggies, as a rub on chicken or in any ground meat dish like hamburgers, meat loaf or Sheppard's pie.
