Alderwood Smoked Sea Salt
Wood from the Alder tree actually becomes harder once immersed in water, making this this a natural complement to sea salt! The dye from the tree's flowers were supposedly used by Robin Hood and his merry men to camouflage their clothes in Sherwood Forest.
The intense camp fire smokiness of this sea salt makes an excellent addition to dry BBQ rubs, marinades, brines, soups, stews, chilli or to season meats and veggies before they are roasted or hit the grill.
Small is a one ounce resealable package, large is two ounces.
